Julius Urdas Bio:

Julius Urda didn't start painting until he quit working at the US Steel in the bar mills. At 80 years old Urda still considers himself a beginner having only painted for 18 years. After raising a family seven children with two wives he has finally found the time to pursue his passion for drawing. Urda prefers to work from photographs of his subject because they don't change position or move,so he can focus on what he wants to paint. He prefers Rembrandt and other 17th century masters.
